In this chance, I would like to deliver a speech with tittle “ National examination as dreams destroyer”. Ladies and gentlemans, National examination is less than two weeks from now. But there’s always a controversial about that. The big question is “what for?” Do we need a national examination to improve the quality of education? Let’s check it out. For the government, a standardized national test means to control the quality of the schools, so that in the future, all schools in this country can meet the minimum demand of the national standard. This year the passing grade for the national examination is 4.25 of 10 (last year 4.01). For the school, the national examination will determine their prestige on the national stage.
